What is a Nutritional Therapist?
Hi, I’m Natalie, Integral Wellness founder, and you wouldn’t know it now, but this used to be my story too.
Back in 2016 before I became a nutritionist (and across most of my 20’s), I was tired, stressed, and not eating well. Stuck in a corporate job I didn’t love, I relied on cups of tea (up to 12 a day!) and packets of biscuits to get me through the day.
Maybe you can relate?
I was sluggish, lethargic and not feeling my best.
Nausea, persistent headaches, severe PMS, fluctuating weight, low energy, and constant cravings… you name it, I experienced the lot.
And with a family history of type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, I didn’t want ill health to be my future.
“If you don't look after yourself, where are you going to live?”

Nutritional Therapists have a deep understanding of the biochemical processes within the body and the impact of various nutrients and environmental factors on health. We are regulated by our professional body (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) to stay up-to-date with the latest scientific research and make appropriate, ethical and evidenced recommendations to our clients.
Part of the role of a Nutritional Therapist is to educate on the importance of nutritional choices and empower our clients to make informed decisions on their food and lifestyle. At Integral Wellness, we help men and women – just like you – achieve their health goals, improve their overall quality of life, and prevent future health issues through the power of nutrition.
