Nutrition for Heart Health & Complex Conditions
Atrial fibrillation, heart disease, angina, multiple medications and heart conditions/diagnoses
Personalised nutrition and lifestyle support alongside medical care to support heart health, metabolic balance, and quality of life.
Living with a heart condition (or several overlapping diagnoses) can feel overwhelming. This programme works alongside your existing medical care to support nutritional status, metabolic health, and day-to-day wellbeing.
Does this sound like you?
- You live with a diagnosed heart condition, such as atrial fibrillation, angina, or heart disease
- You have multiple diagnoses that affect your cardiovascular or metabolic health
- You take several medications – they remind you that you’re unwell – and want to understand how nutrition could improve how you feel
- You’re overwhelmed by conflicting advice and want clear, supportive guidance
It can feel deflating when more medications and diagnoses are given to you – it’s like nothing is getting better, only worse.
That’s why we work on the drivers that created those diagnoses in the first place. When we address those, you have a chance to feel better, and your GP may even de-prescribe medications as a result!
What this programme focuses on
This programme is about supporting cardiovascular health within complex and often overlapping health conditions.
We focus on nutritional status, metabolic health, inflammation, blood sugar regulation, and lifestyle factors that influence heart function and overall well-being.
We don’t give one-size-fits-all advice. We take into account medications, diagnoses, test results, and energy levels to build a plan that feels achievable and supportive.
What support looks like
You’ll receive the same 1-1 clinical nutrition support offered across our programmes, with particular focus on heart health and complex conditions.
This includes:
- Personalised nutrition support tailored to your diagnoses and medications
- Guidance to support cardiovascular and metabolic health
- Interpretation of blood tests and relevant health markers
- Support for energy levels, digestion, and overall quality of life
- Practical lifestyle recommendations that fit around medical care
Who you’ll work with
You’ll work with: Holly or Natalie
Both practitioners are trained in clinical cardiometabolic nutrition and experienced in supporting clients with complex health needs, working collaboratively alongside medical teams.
What level of support do you need?
Transformation
Designed to help you build momentum with structure and accountability. Begin with a detailed 75-minute initial consultation, followed by weekly sessions for the first six weeks and fortnightly sessions for the next six weeks. This option suits those who benefit from frequent contact, guidance, and coaching as they implement change.
Essential
Our standard support programme. You’ll start with a comprehensive 75-minute initial consultation with your chosen nutritional therapist, followed by fortnightly sessions over three months. This option provides consistent support while allowing time to apply changes, review progress, and refine your personalised plan.
Optimal
A slower, more spacious approach over six months, with the support of your nutritionist and the team behind the scenes. Following a 75-minute initial consultation, sessions take place every 2–3 weeks for 6 months. This programme is well-suited to complex health concerns, multiple goals, or those who want time to make sustainable changes without pressure.
