Cholesterol Nutrition
High cholesterol, triglycerides, Lp(a), ApoB, and Statin medication use
Personalised nutrition and lifestyle support to help you understand your cholesterol results and make informed decisions about your cardiovascular health.
This 1-1 programme focuses on helping you understand what’s driving your cholesterol results, using a deeper, more nuanced approach than standard testing alone.
Does this sound like you?
- You’ve been told your cholesterol is high, but you’re unsure what that actually means
- You’ve been advised to start or increase statin medication and want more context
- Your results feel confusing or contradictory despite “doing everything right”
- You want to understand risk more clearly without panic or extreme dietary rules
We know how confusing cholesterol can be – and it doesn’t help that standard blood tests barely tell half the story.
We use private blood labs and genetic testing to truly understand your cholesterol picture and full cardio-metabolic risk so you feel confident in the steps you’re taking.
What this programme focuses on
This programme takes a whole-body, evidence-based approach to cholesterol and cardiovascular risk.
We explore how liver and gallbladder function, insulin sensitivity, inflammation, gut health, genetics, and dietary patterns influence lipid markers such as triglycerides, ApoB, and Lp(a).
Detailed lipid testing is a core area of our expertise, allowing us to interpret results in context and help you understand what’s modifiable, what’s genetic, and where lifestyle and nutrition can have the most impact.
What support looks like
You’ll receive the same 1-1 clinical nutrition support offered across our programmes, with a specific focus on cholesterol metabolism and lipid health.
This includes:
- A personalised nutrition plan tailored to support a healthy cholesterol balance
- Interpretation of advanced lipid testing, including ApoB and Lp(a) where available
- Guidance on dietary fats, fibre, blood sugar balance, and cardiovascular nutrition
- Support alongside statin use, including nutritional considerations and side-effect management
- Ongoing reviews to assess progress, refine your plan, and build confidence over time
Who you’ll work with
You’ll work with: Caroline, Holly, or Natalie
All practitioners are trained in clinical cardio-metabolic nutrition and experienced in supporting cholesterol concerns, lipid disorders, and medication use using an evidence-based, supportive approach that works alongside medical care.
