Nutrition for Blood Sugar & Insulin Resistance
Pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes, and insulin resistance
Ready to explore the underlying reasons why you find regulating your blood sugars so challenging? And your risk of type 2 diabetes is increasing?
This 1-1 programme uses evidence-based nutrition strategies, lifestyle support, and tools such as blood tests and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) where appropriate, to help you understand how your body responds to food, stress, and daily habits.
Does this sound like you?
- You’ve been told you’re pre-diabetic, insulin resistant, or you’re currently managing type 2 diabetes
- Your blood sugar feels unpredictable, and you’re unsure what actually helps stabilise it
- You feel confused by conflicting advice about carbs, sugar, fasting, or “what you should be eating”
- You want personalised guidance that works alongside medical care, not against it
And you know, that if you don’t prioritise addressing this, it will likely get worse and you’ll wish you took action sooner.
What this programme focuses on
This programme is all about understanding why your blood sugar feels out of control and supporting the factors that influence insulin sensitivity and metabolic health.
We focus on how your unique physiology responds to food, stress, sleep, movement, and medication (and how small, targeted changes can improve stability over time.)
This includes exploring factors such as glucose patterns, insulin response, nutrient status, inflammation, stress load, sleep quality, and lifestyle habits that impact blood sugar control.
What support looks like
You’ll receive the same 1-1 clinical nutrition support offered across our programmes, with particular focus on blood sugar regulation and insulin sensitivity.
We’re talking…
- A personalised nutrition plan designed to support stable blood glucose and metabolic health
- Interpretation of blood tests and glucose data, including CGM, where appropriate
- Guidance around carbohydrates, meal timing, and food combinations that suit your body
- Practical lifestyle strategies to support insulin sensitivity, energy, and resilience
- Ongoing appointments to review data, refine your plan, and build confidence over time
Who you’ll work with
You’ll work with: Holly, Caroline or Natalie
All practitioners are trained in clinical cardio-metabolic nutrition and experienced in supporting insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, and type 2 diabetes using an evidence-based approach that works alongside medical care.

Essential

This option provides consistent support while allowing time to apply changes, review progress, and refine your personalised plan.
Optimal
A slower, more spacious approach over six months, with the support of your nutritionist and the team behind the scenes. Following a 75-minute initial consultation, sessions take place every 2–3 weeks for 6 months.
